Wipro Infotech VPN services over 22 branch locations

Brief description

Wipro's network connects its centrally located Data Centre with 22 remote branch offices. A number of mission critical applications are run in order to conduct transaction related businesses across the VPN space. The design architecture of Sify VPN lays emphasis on last mile redundancies across multiple media. Depending on the bandwidth usage and the operational volumes of branches, the LANs of the branches are connected to the Sify Net through Broad band, 2Mb, 64kb Leased Lines. Sify Net provides total security, reliability of a dedicated leased line and the robustness, scalability, flexibility of the IP space to seamlessly connect to the main server at the Data centre in Bangalore.

Considering the criticality of data interchange, the solution provided by Sify for Wipro ensured that back-ups were always available in the form of Leased Lines and ISDN connectivity across all branch locations.

Benefits of partnering with Sify

  • Wipro has updated information flow from its branch offices, round-the-clock.
  • Reliability of the system due to last mile redundancies guarantee that Wipro does not lose out on critical data transfer due to network downtime.
  • The network is so designed that it takes care of scaling up when additional branch offices need to be linked up to the central server. Expensive infrastructure costs associated with traditional connectivity are thus eliminated.
  • Wipro gains from the outsourcing of connectivity as it can now concentrate on its core business.
  • Seamless integration with LAN systems in the client's side.
