Tata Finance – Amex Cards: CRM Portal Solution

Tata Finance's (TFL) is a non-banking finance company (NBFC) whose business portfolio spans vehicle financing, home finances, credit cards, foreign exchange, broking, primary dealership for government securities, distribution of retail savings instruments (such as mutual funds and insurance) and share registry services.

Sify Web Services proposed a web-based CRM solution that envisaged a virtual Direct Sales agent. Applicants could access the website and transact various operation involved in applying for a credit card, and other related activities.

Business Requirements Met By Sify’s Solution

The requirements from the portal solution were:

  • To provide a robust web based service for Amex cardholders.
  • To facilitate application of credit cards online.
  • To allow web-based querying on:
  • Status of application
  • Billing details and unbilled transaction
  • Link in real-time with Equifax - the vendor for transaction processing.
  • Provide web-based customer service.
  • Allow redemption of loyalty points online from the portal.
  • Integrate with third party online shopping malls such as www.sifymall.com.

Sify’s scope involved technology consultancy, application development, hosting, network security, integration of VeriSign digital certification and total system integration.
